AWARD® Manager
Duration: 1 day Location: This one day course can be run either online or face to face (for up to 10 attendees). Why attend? On this course you will learn how to use AWARD® most effectively to support your procurement project activities. You will gain the knowledge you need to make decisions about how to best deploy AWARD® and ensure that the procurement process runs smoothly. Course overview With a ‘hands-on’ approach and interactive classroom teaching, this course includes the completion of exercises in AWARD®. It is delivered in two distinct parts, relating to different points in the procurement lifecycle. Part 1 is delivered at the beginning of the planning stage to ensure you have full awareness of the AWARD® functionality before making key decisions about how you’ll exchange information with bidders and undertake their evaluation. Part 2 covers the stage just before the actual supplier selection activities start and ensures you are able to adminster AWARD® before it is used in a live environment. Who should attend? AWARD® Configuration
Duration: 1 day Location: This one day training course can be run either online or face to face (for up to ten attendees). Why attend? This interactive course gives you all the essential skills to start using AWARD® to effectively configure and manage your procurement projects. Course description This course is run regularly and is available as part of the ExpertAssist package focusing on the use of standard AWARD® features. The course is delivered through a combination of interactive classroom teaching and ‘hands-on’ tutorial-based exercises within AWARD®. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to ask any questions you have about the use of AWARD®. Although the course is based around the standard use of AWARD®, you’ll also learn how the principles and techniques discussed can be easily applied to customer specific project configurations. Course objective Learn all the essential skills to start using AWARD® to successfully manage and configure your procurement projects. Who should attend? Customers with the AWARD® ExpertAssist package who are going to manage simple projects using AWARD® and those who are new to running projects in AWARD® or would like a refresher. Experienced AWARD® administrators are welcome to attend – although it may be less relevant for them, there will be opportunity to ask any questions they may have around the use of AWARD®. Social Value Training
Incorporating the delivery of Social Value into public sector procurement is now a critical element of the procurement process, with many governments mandating a minimum threshold. In the UK, for example, Social Value should account for at least 10% of the tender score. In order to evaluate a response in relation to Social Value, a project team must understand what ‘good’ Social Value looks like and how that is articulated. Whilst there is guidance available, such as The Social Value Model and public sector policies, it is often difficult to understand how to apply them to the contract and how to effectively differentiate between suppliers.
